Bouncy castle operation: The Dos and the Don'ts |
Posted: July 28, 2017 |
If you are in the bouncy castle business, you have to ensure proper maintenance and operation of your business inflatables to make sure they stay okay in the long run. Fundamentally, there are actually 3 golden rules of operating a bouncy castle, and those are:
In this article, we have come up with a list of a few Dos and Don’ts of maintaining and operating a bouncy castle inflatable. If you are quite new to the world of the bouncy castle business, you may benefit tremendously from this list as a whole. So let’s begin. P.S. Do remember to inform your customers of these tips (including those who come to you for a bouncy castle hire in Bedfordshire) at the time of operation. A simple awareness can go a long way indeed. DOs 1. DO use it the correct way A bouncy castle comes with a certain limit of people that can go on it at the same time. Ensure you stick to the same. Do not allow people on the castle that exceed the stated weight (it should be stated in the manuals itself) and height restrictions. If you do it otherwise, it may result in catastrophic damage to the castle and may also result in an accident. 2. DO use the blower in the correct way The blower should be placed at least 4 feet from the castle at the time of the inflation. Also, ensure that there’s no obstruction on the way. Otherwise, it may result in an injury. 3. DO ensure that the inflatable comes with valid test certificate You are no expert to judge the quality of an inflatable by its looks and feels. But a valid test certificate guarantees the fact that the quality of the inflatable is right up to the mark and is tested by professionals at the authority levels. So do ensure that the inflatable that you are purchasing for your business comes with a valid test certificate. A simple thing like that can go a long way indeed. Note: Sometimes your customers (who are coming to you for a bouncy castle hire) may also ask to see the valid test certificate from you before the closure of the deal. Hence, you must ensure that you have one with you at the time of your purchase so that you can show it to them at the time of their requests. 4. DO ensure to deflate the inflatable after use Always deflate the inflatable after use (almost immediately) to stop any unsupervised use of the inflatable after the completion of the session. A few more mentions…
DON’Ts 1. DON’T let bouncers climb the walls of your castle The walls of your inflatable are made to keep the bouncers safe. They are not designed to take the weight of individuals at the time of their climb. Climbing of the castle walls can only lead to accidents. 2. DON’T allow ANYONE to go on to the castle at the time of deflation After the completion of the “bouncing” session, do make it a point to ensure that no one is there on the inflatable at the time of deflation. That’s because bouncing on the castle at the time of deflation may result in unpredictable bounces, which, in turn, may result in accidents. Better be safe than sorry. A few more mentions…
So that’s basically it then. We hope that by following the tips mentioned above, you will be able to provide your users with a fun and safe “bouncing” experience. With that, we’ll bring this article to a close for now. Hope you had a good and useful read. To know more details you can visit www.chameleon-ents.co.uk
